History
COLING conference, organized by the International Committee on Computational Linguistics (ICCL),
has a history that dates back to the mid-Sixties of the last
century. The 1st conference was held in New York, 1965.
Since then, the conference was held every two years. The last
four conferences were held in Taipei (Coling2002),
Geneva (Coling2004),
Sydney (Coling-ACL2006)
and Manchester(Coling2008).
